Alcoholics Anonymous in the Monadnock Region

The Wednesday Greenfield meeting is moving to the Bennington Town offices 10/23. This will be for many months during renovation of the Greenfield meeting house. The new address is 7 School street, across from the fire station, on the second floor of the town office. (See red X on the map below). An elevator is available.

Parking is in front(1), around the side(3), a few spots next to the fire station(2)(but you may be blocked in the rare event of a call - do not block the bays!), or across the bridge at the VFW(4). There is also parking on main street, and at the church.

Audio versions of the Big Book and Step Book are available. Ask your GSR or DCM

Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism.

The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership; we are self- supporting through our own contributions. A.A. is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy, neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.

“The tremendous fact for every one of us is that we have discovered a common solution. We have a way out on which we can absolutely agree, and upon which we can join in brotherly and harmonious action.”
